Hi, very new here.
I made a very barebones simple terrain in Gaea and I’ve been trying to get the splat node to work.
Unfortunately when I click on the splat node itself after I have 3 inputs, it only seems to render the output of the first node.
I’ve watched a few different youtube videos, and when they click on their splat node you can see the individual red blue green channels immediately. I haven’t been able to achieve this.
However when I export the splat node itself as a TIFF32 into unity, it displays correctly and all of the channels seem to be there.
I replaced the splat node with an RGB merge node and this looks way closer to what I’m trying to achieve, but I’ve now lost a channel worth of information. I would be very pleased if someone could explain this workflow to me :)
@Kurt_Hamiter
It looks like there are a few bugs with the /splat node when rendering.
Clean RGB with the same node types
Mixed data included Alpha ( end )
Similarly, a build - like your graph - builds with the data encoded, but not the correct display in the viewport; sometimes there is colour, sometimes there is not, but the data seems to be intact overall.
I would file a bug report for the /splat node viewport issue so that it can be fixed.
