Community Concept Challenge: Gaea 3 UI

This story starts because of a certain fish.

for all of this distress may we get a sneaky peaky of the gaea 3 ui.

The community seemed intrigued on my alternative suggestion so here goes.

Using available visual resources:

Design your concepts for Gaea 3 UI.

Maybe we can do a compare when some more official UI designs drop in the future.

I’ll share a portion of an early prototype design.

It shows the new context-sensitive toolbar (which can be moved anywhere), a new viewport toolbar that is also context-sensitive, the one-file-many-versions browser in the title. New progressive preview min/max range.

I want to suggest incorporating landforms/nature elements in UI. The current pointy curves can be replaced with S curve with a vine/rope like texture or maybe a river network as node connection? Input/Output ports could be indicated by a rock/branch/mountain. Portal can be made as a small leaf shaped node.
Terrible at UI but made some illustrations!
