Modeling Water in Gaea

This month I’ve been trying to model the rocky Pacific Northwestern coastline for a friendly rendering challenge but got totally sidetracked trying to model both the cliffside AND the water. I wanted the waves to be influenced by the shape of the shoreline and to have foam effects.

I’m still working on my Pacific Northwest challenge but took some extra time to test the water in this surreal scene.

The trees, shrubs, and small rocks are Quixel scans. I modeled the house in Revit. the islands are from Gaea. 100% of the water was modeled and textured in Gaea. It was rendered in Twinmotion with no postprocessing or AI.

Gotta love it when people think out side the box :raised_fist:

Clever, and a really cool looking piece!
