I’m trying to reproduce +/- this reference.
First thought of trying to do the whole landscape but.. finally will split it in 4 or 5 parts.
Bref, here is an attempt to recreate the big deeply eroded rock block on the right of the ref./road
Before going further, any feedback/advice will be welcomed !
A beautiful location! Stunning even in Google Earth. I found that reference photo location, funny enough now called “Forest Gump Point”.
From there I had to know why that particular mesa was called Brigham’s Tomb and found this helpful geology paragraph.
The general shape looks spot on, but the shale to sandstone transition should be sharper, and the shale looks rockier than the sediment deposits you’ve got.
