@MarcSaunier @ArtEyes @GTJohn @Kosvid
Thanks for the feedback.
I’ve reviewed both topics, and I think the cleanest approach is to leave the existing solved Sand On Roadway topic intact and resolve its more direct issue.
The discussion here has since developed into the broader workflow around road texturing, dune masking and compositing, with @Kosvid’s later post aiming to address all three areas more broadly.
@MarcSaunier As the OP, if you have tested that approach and it resolves the issues as described, please mark that post as the solution using the
icon at the bottom of a post.
Overall, this will leave both topics as clearly resolved references for their respective issues rather than combining separate discussions into a single catch-all solution.
It should also make the information easier for future users to discover through both broad and directed searches.

Where related discussions branch into their own subject, we can use Reply as a Linked Topic in line with the forum guidelines, allowing useful knowledge to remain connected without duplicating the same discussion across multiple topics.To reply as a linked topic, you can click a posts timestamp > + New Post
I can then close this topic naturally and avoid further branching here.
