Upon a release of a new update for Gaea2, the update workflow inside of the Launcher seems to properly perform the update, even goes so far as to ask if we want to close Gaea.
However, when Gaea closes, it does not reopen (if it’s supposed to) and the Update flag is still there. Performing this update repeatedly yields the same thing. In order to properly update Gaea, I need to download the web installer from the website. I even tried the CLI update method which was met with the same result as updating via the Launcher.
Not a bad one for my first post on the forum. XD
I am now using the latest Gaea 2 release, however, I have had this issue consistently in the past and am only now, since getting my new laptop, able to make my reports in any proper way.
Should more info be needed, I will be more than happy to oblige.
