I’m a brand new Gaea 2 user, though I’ve been making maps for my TTRPG campaigns for decades in photoshop, and I’d love to connect with an experienced user for a private lesson or two. I’d be willing to pay commission for the time.
I’ve already started working through the resources available, especially YouTube videos, but I learn best when I can ask questions and get guidance tailored to the specific workflows I’m trying to build. I’m looking for a way to accelerate the learning process and build a solid foundation with help from someone more experienced.
I’m in CST (GMT+6) and am usually free in the evenings on weekdays or all day on the weekends.

I appreciate you looking out! I’m hoping someone takes me up on my offer. If anything just to hang out with a fellow mapping nerd and learning from their exploration of the software. It’s honestly so much fun just to combine stuff and move sliders around. I am trying to learn how to take my traditional drawing cartography and turn it into something 3D.
This all started because I am making a Valheim map and decided I wanted to full send learning this program so I could make it epic but also remake some of my older maps with those skills as well.
@Kilroys_Kartography does some really awe inspiring content in that area if you just wanted to enjoy the journey and self experience there in the meantime.
He has a YT, and a nice calm voice to enjoy the content as well.
