Trying to create a wide bottomless chasm in the middle of a mountain range

The image below is a concept im trying to replicate. Any idea how to make this possible? Currently on free plan, open to getting Gaea Professional for tiles.

Anyone know how I can achieve this? I’ve played with combining a canyon and a mountain range and got relatively close but its not quite there. Still relatively new to Gaea. Goal is to use it in Unreal.

I’d try getting the base shape from /canyon first, it seems to be really strong even on it’s own, even to jsut test in your scenes before the final is ready.


You could also just user strata mode to work on just the canyon and populate the top later with transpose or just blending a surface onto it while masking the canyon section.

Gaea cannot make overhangs, so you would have to build supporting meshes for that kind of task ( in a way you can partially build one in Gaea.
